In 2001 a designer, frustrated by agency blah, blah, blah, went out on his own. Clients should be treated better, employees should be treated better business doesn't have to be so deceiving all the time.
Within a year that one designer became two. The following year they became three. Happy clients and good relationships demanded more. So the three eventually became eight in 2007 – thirteen in 2012.
An increase in staff brought an increase in talent and skill sets. What started from a primarily direct response designer has grown into a studio that tackles almost anything that comes in the door. Diversity keeps us interested, learning keeps us on our toes. And a network of sought after writers, photographers and printers supports our every endeavor.
Slow, steady growth not plans of world domination and clients that are treated like friends. That's what keeps us a float year in and year out. And it's the thinking that keeps the clients coming back. Although the easier route, none of us would be satisfied taking clients' orders and having them ready at the take-out window. Our value comes from suggestions, recommendations and guidance. Some days it's just being a sounding board to bounce things off of. In the end, the good, performing work comes from collaboration.
So that's about it. No airs, no chest beating. You'll meet us. You'll see our work. And then you'll decide if we're who you want to work with without a sales pitch or threats of what you're missing out on if you don't work with us.
